Cara & Karma is a singles social circle for the 40-60+yr age group.

We're not a dating/match making group - we just provide an opportunity to meet and make new single friends!  

Started in November 2008 by Lin, Jan & Kevin as a way of making new single friends in and around Swindon, it went from strength to strength and attracted people from outside the area too.

After a break and following a reunion meet it was agreed to start the regular meetings again, both Lin and Jan happily now find themselves in long term relationships and have bowed out but under a new structure of Michelle, Hazel, Lina and Bryn it is hoped to build upon the previous success of the group.

The  group is very friendly and inviting, and your hosts, always wear name badges making them easily recognizable.  They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable as they know how hard it can be to take that very first step out of your comfort zone to come along to a meeting or event.  Everyone was 'new' once, and you only have to take that first step once.  Once you have done it - you are on the way to making new friends and having a regular social life outside of your 'coupled' friends and family.

So many of us find ourselves in the situation of suddenly becoming widowed/divorced/separated after years in a relationship, and having no single friends to have share experiences with, so why not join us for a drink and chat with light refreshments at one of our monthly pub meets?

Regular monthly meetings are held at The Plough, Badbury, Chiseldon SN4 0EP

(300 metres from J15 of M4 on the A345 towards Marlborough).
